Will it be okay to put my external hard drive near my laptop?
I've heard from my friend that both external hard drive and laptop have magnetic field, so will it be okay if I put them near each other, or will it affect the data stored?
no its perfectly okay to put you external hd near your computer and it will not affect you storage capicity. Unless you put a massive magnet on you hd.
